27...Hervey Bay, Humpbacks and Fraser Island

On the return leg of the annual migration between Antarctica and northeastern Australia up to 3000 Humpback whales passing Hervey Bay between the end of July and the end of October. So I did a Whale watching tour on a Catamaran.

The whales did a great show for us. Four whales entertained us for about 2 hours. Jumps, flip over, blows, diving under the boat and swimming around it. It was fantastic and very impressed.

Fraser Island is the world’s largest sand island and famous for its Dingo's. I’ve been there for 3 days by a guided tour.
Actually I booked the 2 days tour but the tour bus broke down at the last tour and repairing needed a while, they offered me to go on the 3 day tour for the price of the 2 days tour. And why should I say no, shouldn’t I?
It’s quite different to get everything showed instead of exploring all by yourself like I’ve done it the whole time here in
Australia. But it’s nice to get food served, have a proper stay (we stayed in a resort) and don't have to drive on myself.
